?(Reporter Liu Liping) On August 21, our city held the third Dream Building scholarship award ceremony for poverty alleviation students, in order to help the poor students who are both good at learning and have family difficulties complete their studies.
Dream-building scholarship is a kind of Poverty-Alleviation and study-aiding activity, which is linked by the Municipal Committee of Customs and Workers and generously financed by caring enterprises and people from all walks of life to help poor students who were admitted to universities to complete their studies. In this way, the event aims to build a bridge between caring entrepreneurs, well-known social figures and poor students. This year, donations for poverty alleviation and student aid activities came from the charitable foundation of Hongji in Qingyuan, Jiangxi, Qianhai All People's Finance Holding Group, Huaxia Investment Co., Ltd., Hong Kong Howard Group, Jiangxi Construction Industry Group, Jishang Investment Co., Ltd. and other compassionate units. A total of 369,000 yuan was raised to support 123 poor students.
The work flow of raising and Issuing the Dream Building scholarship for poverty alleviation is as follows: the Municipal Committee of Customs and Workers is responsible for contacting caring enterprises or social celebrities to raise funds; the county (city, district) Committee of Customs and Workers is responsible for selecting students and issuing funds; and the donated enterprises (individuals) examine and verify the conditions and qualifications of the recipients in principle. Bank enterprises (donors) and recipients meet and recognize each other. The 123 students confirmed in this study were all approved by donors after their application or school recommendation, village (residential) Committee review, County (city, district) Customs Committee review and publicity.
